Escena was conceived from the rich artistic and architectural heritage of Palm Springs. The dramatic scenery, other-worldly land forms and the stark contrast of desert-scapes against crisp blue skies has attracted generations of the world’s most renowned artists and architects.
Working in conjunction with the City of Palm Springs’ Art in Public Places program, Escena features an eclectic mix of outdoor artwork by renowned artists such as Steven Rieman, Frank Morbillo, John Olenik, Virgil Villers and Bruce Niemi.
The Escena clubhouse, a stunning white steel and glass tribute to the area’s modernist heritage, has garnered numerous architectural accolades, including Golf Inc. magazine’s 2010 Best New Clubhouse award.
