Brett Teele

Brett Teele brings more than 20 years of diverse finance, tax and multi-stage business experience to Wildcat. As Chief Financial Officer & Operating Partner, he is responsible for the firm’s financial management and reporting. He is also involved with the firm’s administrative and operational efforts including investor relations, legal, information technology and human resources.

Prior to joining Wildcat, Brett was Vice President of Finance at Venrock, a diversified venture capital firm, where he was involved with all finance and accounting functions along with other operational aspects of the firm. Prior to joining Venrock, he was Vice President of Finance at Fox Paine & Company, a private equity firm providing solutions and capital for management buyouts, public-to-private transactions and growth capital investments.

Earlier in his career, Brett spent eight years at Prana Investments, a private equity firm focused on investing in multi-family residential real estate, as the company’s Tax Manager and spent six years in public accounting performing audit, tax and advisory services.

• Brett is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (Cal CPA), and the National Venture Capital Association’s (NVCA) CFO Task Force.
